Running into a New Year

Lucille Clifton's poem by this title resonates in all ways and is desperately, beautifully timeless and universal. Becoming closer to one's self can look messy, unkempt, and with frayed edges. But, as I would hope for someone to say and mean it "I'm here for all that."
