My daughters called this a "simple" piece. And it is, intentionally. Rising into the new doesn't have to be complicated. I've been using this summer of 2020 with all its confusion, fury, and uncertainty, to teach my daughters that, even now, there can be unexpected moments of inspiration to be more than we were yesterday. I've been inviting them to embrace ascension and inspiration -- simple, catalystic moments that ignite a desire to rise courageously into what is intended for them. While the loud, abrupt, roar for change and growth is vital, so is the quiet uplifting and uprising of one's self into new, with each breath.
