UNDER THESE HERE STARS

Under These Here Stars invites reflection on the permanence of the earth and its cycles; our relationship to the natural world, the cosmos, each other, and ourselves; the fleeting nature of time; fluidity of time and space, consciousness, and being. It includes aesthetic tones of whimsy and stoicism, leans into minimalism, and makes use of visual symbol and script motifs as elements of communication that reach beyond words.

Within this body of work is a Megalith series. These works are highly textured, like stone, and are intentionally created with a high gloss finish which contradicts the rugged nature of the stone that inspired this series, but are meant to introduce a reflective element to the work and incorporate light-play against a backdrop of darkness.
